Fayette Montessori

TEACHERS
	Margaret Sisson - Director In 1991 Margaret founded Fayette Montessori School and is a dedicated adherent to the educational theories of Dr. Maria Montessori. Margaret taught in the Montessori classroom for 20 years and stepped out of the classroom in 2004 to administrate the growing school. She is married and has two children. Margaret has a Bachelors Degree from Mercer University and holds an AMI Diploma from the Montessori Institute of Atlanta.
	Emmie Thompson - Upper Elementary Emmie Thompson is an AMI Certified Elementary and Primary teacher. She holds an AMI Primary Diploma from the Montessori Institute of Atlanta and an AMI Elementary Diploma from the Montessori Training & Research Center of Dallas. She has taught since 1987 and began her elementary teaching in 2005. Emmie is married with two grown children.
	Michelle Bolding - Lower Elementary Michelle Bolding is an Atlanta native. She is AMI Primary Certified having trained with Lillian Bryan in 1997. She worked for three years as a Montessori assistant and was an AMI primary lead teacher at Fayette Montessori from 1997 to 2008. She is excited to have assumed the role of Lower Elementary Directress in 2008 and is still actively involved in her education.
	Carol Fleming - Primary Carol Fleming studied under Lillian Bryan at the Atlanta Training Institute. She holds an AMI Diploma and completed her training in 1994. Carol was with Fayette Montessori as an assistant from 1994 to 1996 and as a lead teacher for the 1997 year. She returned to Fayette Montessori in 2004. Carol moved to the area in 1987 from Bailey, Colorado. Carol became interested in teaching Montessori after her own children attended Montessori schools. She is married and has two children.
	Dajar Showers - Primary Dajar Showers received her AMI Diploma from the Montessori Institute of Atlanta in 2005 and has been a primary lead teacher for Fayette Montessori School ever since. Her previous experience includes nine years as an assistant at First Montessori School in Atlanta. Dajar is married and has one child.
	Donna Chapman - Primary Teacher Donna trained at the Montessori Institute of Atlanta under Joan Bettman and received her AMI Diploma in 2008. She received her Bachelor's degree from Columbus State University. Donna is married and has one daughter. She was inspired to become a Montessori teacher after observing her daughter in the Montessori program. Donna joined Fayette Montessori in 2008.
	Ana Dean - Toddler Ana Dean has been a Toddler teacher at Fayette Montessori since 1996. Ana Dean has also taught the Primary Summer Camp since 1997. She has completed nine AMI Montessori training courses through the Montessori Institute of Atlanta and AMI/USA. She attended Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan. Ana has been active as a Girl Scout leader since 1995. She is married and has two children. "It's not what's poured into a student that counts; it's what's planted."
	Kathleen Dean - Toddler Kathleen Dean completed her Assistant to Infancy Course at the Montessori Institute of Atlanta in 2008 and began teaching at Fayette Montessori soon after. She is married and has two children.
	Brandy Boyd - Enrichment Brandy has been with Fayette Montessori since 2003. She currently runs the after school program and loves seeing the children learn, mature and grow. Ms Brandy has taken four training courses at the Montessori Institute of Atlanta. She is married to Kevin.
